I'm sorry, but this is getting ridiculous.

Nintendo, I know there are tons of logistical issues hampering you in getting these things out to the world. I know that labor strikes and shipping costs have massively restricted how many you can get out, throttling your production and shipments. We know that you've had trouble contracting with suppliers and manufacturers. But you need to fix this supply issue. It will mean raising the price, yes. And we know that you want them to be affordable as a toy for children. But if parents can't find them in stores, that isn't going to happen.

The longer this issue goes on, the higher the actual price will rise, and therefore the more of these that will be pilfered to feed the black market demand. And, yes, it is actually the black market now. This is not just purchase and resale anymore. They're stealing delivery trucks. What's next, armored transport? How much more will that ruin the margin, Nintendo?

I always thought this was a joke. Apparently, it may have been a real vision of the future:

My friend Delzethin is currently running a GoFundMe account to pay for some extended medical troubles he's had. He's had chronic issues and lifetime troubles that have really crippled his career opportunities, and he's trying to get enough funding to get back to a stable medical situation. If you like his content, please support his GoFundMe, or even just contribute to his Patreon.

He can really use a hand with this, and any support you can offer is appreciated.
