Unhappy No...NOOOOOO YOU CAN'T BE OVER!!!!!

I just finished up a really cute manga series this evening and now I feel like an empty husk of a human being. The bad part was knowing I was almost finished, as I seriously began to dread the last few chapters since I knew I wouldn't have anything else left to read. I really loved the characters and scenarios... and now it's over... So what the last show/book/comic/film series you indulged in that made you sad to see it end?

Charmed is the first one to come to mind. Though in my case I can continue it if I ever get my hands on the comic books, but it's just ain't the same, man!

Cried horrendously at the ends of 30 Rock and Parks and Rec. 30 Rock moreso because it was just so perfect and it was hard to realize it was ending, Parks and Rec because I was so emotionally involved.

Umineko no Naku Koro ni. I couldn't believe it ended the way it did. Although in retrospect I wouldn't have it any other way.

The most recent one that effected me was Jake and Amir. Most of the time I at least get to feel half happy half sad when a series ends because the characters have all developed to a point where Im satisfied and all I want from then is closure. However I felt like Jake and Amir could have gone on forever or until one of them died.

    Farscape.

There are so many more stories to tell in that universe!
My friend Delzethin is currently running a GoFundMe account to pay for some extended medical troubles he's had. He's had chronic issues and lifetime troubles that have really crippled his career opportunities, and he's trying to get enough funding to get back to a stable medical situation. If you like his content, please support his GoFundMe, or even just contribute to his Patreon.

He can really use a hand with this, and any support you can offer is appreciated.

Firefly. The time I heard the last opening sequence was a sad time. I mean, the movie was good but it wasn't the same (that and they killed off two characters )

Way back in the day when I watched anime there was Eflen Lied (sp?) and Bebop! :C

Nowadays, I can't really think of a show that ended in a way that I either wasn't prepared for or even bothered to watch.

If its not Firefly, its the first Avatar series. But at least that wasn't cut short. But it never would have been long enough. It was so wonderful

I remember them shooting that. It was very close to my hometown. Looked like trout.

Edit: oh wait, I was thinking of a totally different show. It wasn't Chuck. Neva minds

I miss Dead Like Me. It went too soon and then came back in the form of a terrible film. I also felt like 30 Rock could've and probably should've went for at least two more seasons. I didn't watch all the seasons yet though but my life needs more Tina Fey. Also Bates Motel this season could've been two more episodes. 10 episodes?! No. 12-13 please.

Doctor Who. This is going back to the time before it started up again in 2005.

I've been a fan of Doctor Who since I was about three. They used to run through all of the stories from the Third Doctor's first to the Seventh Doctor's last on a channel called UKTV Gold (I think it's called something different now).

They were on every evening, and I always watched them after school if I could. Obviously, I couldn't watch it every evening. But, over the years as the cycle of stories repeated again and again, I eventually saw every single episode from the start of the Third Doctor's tenure onwards.

Eventually, of course, they would reach the Seventh Doctor's last episode. I always felt really sad to see it end.

You cannot even imagine how happy I was when they announced that they were starting up Doctor Who again.
