The first game doesn't have one, and XI's is currently unknown. So they are being excluded.

V: Hand of the Heavenly Bride
VI: Realms of Revelation
VII: Warriors of Eden
VIII: Journey of the Cursed King
IX: Sentinels of the Starry Sky
X: Awakening of the Five Tribes
Warriors of Eden or Journey of the Cursed King takes this for me.

I just want to say that VII and X really bothers me when you have them all lined up like this because everything else has some alliteration going on.

I'm going with Sentinels of the Starry Sky.
The spectacular sibilance whose presence is in evidence in the stupendous string of sounds which is Sentinels of the Starry Sky is simply splendid.
Sentinel of the Starry Sky rolls off the tongue pretty nicely. Still haven't played more than an hour of it though....

Dragon Quest Heroes has a subtitle now. It's going to be called "The World Tree's Woe and the Blight Below".
