Also, since we have 110 Pokemon and only 8 contestants so far, I'm thinking of extending the sign up period all the way to the 20th when I'll start distributing the eggs, so that we can get the most people possible in it.

Don't be nervous, Pumpkin. These matches are more silly than serious. Your team is random. Some teams will just have pretty weak Pokémon. Others will have no synergy between the team members. You may get incredibly unlucky and get all Bug Pokémon. Or you may get a ton of really powerful beastly Pokémon.

The random distribution is going to play such a huge factor, that you should be able to relax and just have fun with it. Don't worry about winning or losing. Just enjoy.

WOW my typing is terrible. I understand it's for fun and stuff I just really don't enjoy it, personally. But it does sound like it'll be fun for a lot of people so I'm still super pumped for this

There are quite a few Persona fans here. Traditional JRPGs have a pretty sizable following on this forum (for obvious reasons).

Alright, people! The egg distribution and raising part of the tournament are just a week away!

1. I am now officially extending the signup period to Saturday the 20th, since we have enough eggs to cover almost twice as many contestants.

2. Let's discuss the raising period in general! How long do you think is enough for us to raise our Pokemon properly? Do we want to have enough time to reach level 50 with everyone? Is a week, two weeks, three weeks enough?

Also, everyone - remember to catch six junk Pokemon by Saturday. Like Skyblade said - you can do that at the first route with tall grass no problem since it has a 100% catch rate.
