I found £20 in a cash machine inside a local newsagent years ago. I handed it in as I thought it pretty likely someone would come back for it. The shop owner may have just pocketed it but I like to think most people wouldn't.

If I found money in the street though and there was no-one around... that's definitely going into my pocket.
