Tales of Xillia had Rowen, who was a 60+ year old butler when he joined the team. Though he wasn't inexperienced, the events of the game took him by surprise just as much as anyone else. And he remains one of the shining beacons to me on this type of conversation. Proving that it is completely possible to pull off.
