I happened upon it late one night on Adult Swim and was outraged that a terrible live action film was on instead of my smurfing cartoons and was also confused as smurf about the movie and what I was witnessing.

Went to see it at a cult theater release in which we were allowed and encouraged to shout things out throughout the screening and given plastic spoons to throw in the theater. That was fun.

I'm kindof over the insane sarcastic worship of this movie, though. If The Holy Mountain didn't exist, this would be the worst film ever made. It's fun to see with other people because of the absurdity and that's about it.
