Favorite decade for TV

Which decade had the best TV shows. For the sake of modernity, we'll include online streaming shows as well (Netflix, Hulu, Yahoo!, etc.)

I honestly can't decide.

There are some really good shows on right now.

But, some of my favourite shows - such as the FANTASTIC remake of Battlestar Galactica - were on in the 2000s.

A lot of the shows I grew up with were from the late 90s and early 2000s.

But, I also grew up on Star Trek and Doctor Who. Blake's 7 was my entrance into 'hard' sci-fi (there are some campy, silly moments, but also a strong dystopian element).

Don't think that I've ever seen any shows from the 50s.

Basically, there have been great TV shows throughout the decades.

For me, it's the 70s & 80s (even though there are great things from every decade).

The 10's have been great but the 90's had a few gems here and there. The only good show from before the 90's I can think of right now is Seinfeld.

Well hush my chops, I cant think of any tv show pre 90's/late 80's that I like. Maybe old Dr Who but I can live without that.
