I was against the in-ear canal ones at first but i've come to love them. They're especially good at nightclubs, cinemas and concerts where the speakers are up way too loud because they prevent your ears ringing afterwards. Theyre also good on loud streets because I dont have to turn my music all the way up to hear it since it blocks out the street noise.
I like headphones but on the go theyre cumbersome to carry around and as a person who sweats heavily I dont like hanging them around my neck
I dont have anything against the standard ones and I've never tried the ones that wrap around your ears so I couldnt give an opinion on them
The best sound quality though comes from using a splitter and wearing standard earphones with headphones over them
