    Relm What's your Gau build?

He's one of the more complex and customizable characters in this game, so how do you utilize Gau? What are your favorite Rages and do you even bother teaching him magic?

Yeah, I teach him magic. Some battles you don't even have to bother w/ the Rages & just use spells.

The Rage I liked the most, that I can remember, is the Golden Bear. Very strong attack.

Rage is my favorite, too. There are others, but it's been a while since I played the game and can't remember them now.

I never bothered teaching him magic. He was already stronger than all of my mages.

Sometimes I try to use "Stray Cat" I think it's called. I spent a long time with him on the veldt with just two more rages left to get. He is the reason you want to kill everything in the entire game.

I take him everywhere I go, I stick to rages like Golden Bear and stray cat, I also teach him a little magic. He isn't my main Mage, but some healing for after battles to keep my MP for my mages in game. His only downside is if you bump the wrong Rage for him by mistake, it can make the battle a lot tougher.

For the WoB, I tend to stick to Stray Cat and Lesser Lopros for most of my needs. Cat Scratch does ridiculous single target damage and Fireball is a great group hitting spell.

In the WoR, My preferred uses are Magic Pot for defensive healing, I love getting Yojimbo just to regain Leo's Shock ability. Io's Flare Star is also useful and toying with enemies with Rafflesia's Charm skill is also fun. I don't teach magic to Gau anymore as he really doesn't need it.
