Say what you will about XIII, the soundtrack was awesome. It has my favorite battle theme from the series. V had Clash on the Big Bridge and my favorite Town Theme, and ExDeath's non-battle theme was metal. X's music was great all around and my second favorite battle theme or at least the one stuck in my head the most and I loved the airship music and location music.
