Default Best non SE game series?

For me it is the Breath of Fire Series, I still love plugging in the games and giving a good play through. Number II is still my favorite, as it was the first game I could think of that allowed me to take my whole custom made town with me anyplace I wished to travel. It was Ground breaking for the SNES, and really was just an all around great game. What are your favorite non SE series?

On my side, I've always loved:

    Professor Layton
    Pokemon (ish)
    Phoenix Wright

Mr. Carny got me into these in particular:

    Mass Effect
    Dragon Age
    Fable

I'd say these are the franchises I follow pretty religiously. I have other games, of course, but these are my staple game series.

    For JRPGs:

    Suikoden
    Breath of Fire
Lunar (if two games counts as a "series")

Suikoden is my personal favorite RPG series.

Technically there is a third Lunar Game. DragonSong on DS.

But yeah, Xenosaga, Breath of Fire, and Shin Megami Tensei.

Currently finalizing a run on Mass Effect, and I can't deny it is one of my all-time favorite series. Dragon Age is insanely good as well

Tales of, and MegaTen are really interesting, though I can only get into a select few of those, but the pinnacles of the series are nothing to sneeze at

The new line of Shadowrun games from Hairbrained are shaping up to be up there with the best

And then there's Fallout and Elder Scrolls, where I have dabbled in most of them, but only enjoyed a handful, and have yet to complete any of them.. And they're still really really good
