Hello again! It's that time again. FanArt Friday! Welcome to another edition of Final Fantasy Fan Art Showcase of the Week, where we show the best of the best from DeviantArt! Last week we showed off some excellent artwork, and this week we'll see another set of artists show off their skills. But you're not here for the text... let's get on with the art!

Final Fantasy IX 15TH Anniversary by 7marican7

This week on the 7th of July also happened to be the 15th anniversary of Final Fantasy IX. which is pretty exciting to some fans of the game. marichan also happens to be such a big fan of the game, that she did a fan art tribute for the game. I have to say that it's a really brilliant piece, featuring all the major characters of the game, including the villain Kuja. I really like how she went with a traditional method to coloring! So kudos to 7marichan7!

FF9 - 15 year anniversary by SamaelReaper

And here is our second tribute fan art to Final Fantasy IX this week! We have two Vivis in one artwork. One is his original self, and the other is also him as a human child. It's pretty adorable if you ask me!

Steven and WoL by paalomita

Next off, we have a crossover fan art, featuring the Warrior of Light from the original Final Fantasy (or one of the remakes of the game) with young Steven Universe from the cartoon series of his namesake, Steven Universe. If you're a fan of SU, you may enjoy this! Steven looks so happy on top of WoL's shoulders.

Terra HD by Jevi93

Last fan art for this week's showcase is this wonderful painting of the lovely Terra from Final Fantasy VI. I really love the work on this piece, the coloring is masterfully done, and such a dynamic pose! The background is also great! Jevi asked me to share his Patreon so if you like to see more amazing art from him, please give his Patreon a visit and support him, if you able to here!

Our Cosplay of the Week goes to AurumCosplay for her wonderful take on Yuffie! She looks super adorable as Yuffie, and I really like the work on her costume and especially with that weapon! It looks like the real deal! She was nice enough to offer her Facebook page which contains more images of her as Yuffie, so please visit to take a look here!
