Gwen died in the movie because she died in the comics. I was wondering if they were considering going into the Clone Saga where she's brought back some time after that, but we'll never know now. Might be what they were going for if there's any truth to the article.

The only lackluster Marvel movie has been The Incredible Hulk as even the Iron Man sequels still have their charm.
Iron Man 3 was great (especially Ben Kingsley)! Iron Man 2, not so great.

It sounds pretty smurfin' terrible and I'm glad Sony lost the reins here.
They actually manage to make the Clone Saga sound worse.

- The plot was pretty smurfing awful
- Unimaginative action sequences and poor jokes
- Loki, the best character in the films, is locked up for pretty much the entire film
- Jane Foster is just a pointless character who doesn't do anything
- Anthony Hopkins looked like he would rather be at an insurance seminar than be in this movie
- If they'd kept Kenneth Branagh as director he may have been able to make the film a bit more interesting
- Also, Stellan Skarsgard naked at Stonehenge...
I just think it's a film that seemed to be made for 3D-loving idiots and I won't be watching it again.
- The plot was enjoyable- The plot was pretty smurfing awful
- Unimaginative action sequences and poor jokes
