Most people comment on Aveline's chin/jaw. I guess her boobs are nice too, though.
Also now you recruited Anders, I recommend heading to The Hanged Man during the daytime. Also don't forget to check your mail in Gamlen's House. You get additional quests there.
I appreciate Sebastian while increasingly loathing him as the Acts progress. He starts out nice, but by late Act 3 he starts to wear. I still like him, though.
I honestly can't think of anyone who has disliked Varric. Like, ever. If Aveline is team mum, Varric is a good shout for team dad. I love both of them equally.
What is it about Varric that you dislike? It's the chest hair, isn't it?

I pretty much ignored Merrill my first run. I really don't like the Dalish tattoos and never could see myself liking someone with them plastered on their face.

Varric is definitely the type to grow on you rather than being immediately likable.
Of course, all Elves are lesser beings and should go back to their hovels.

Well Anders is the best healer in the game so I'd advise using him. Merrill's health starts pathetically low and Blood Magic only compounds the problem.
Also Hawke can say the exact same thing to Anders if you pick the dialogue option with the heart icon. ("Flirt") Basically "ooh, a dark and tragic past. Yummy."
