Isabela is hands down my favorite companion in DA:2 and arguably the series. Her humor is so funny, and she also has a surprisingly deep, caring side.

Isabela is definitely the funniest, but I'd have to say that my favourite DA2 companion is Aveline. She's a tough, straight-talking, no-nonsense kind of woman with a strong sense of right and wrong. But, she's also able to change her mind and be flexible: although she firmly believes in the law, she's willing to bend it if necessary to help others. She's very loyal to her friends and is also secretly quite the romantic, as is made evident during her adorable side-quest to woo Donnic.

Plus, she is the tank to end all tanks. The Immovable ability turns her into an absolute juggernaut.

Aveline and my rogue Hawk pretty much ensured that we never took damage through the course of the game. Which is why I didn't need a healer. Also I liked how she and Hawk were BFFs and I felt their relationship was the closest of everyone.

That's too bad that Isabela was so funny. Since I was a dual wielding rogue myself I never used her.

Dragon Age Origins was good. Not great, just good. Dragon Age II was garbage. Dragon Age Inquisition was my favorite of the three. I played until Dorian ran out of new dialog to swoon me with.

To say 2 was garbage is to say Final Fantasy VII is trash, it's just not true. Most people dismissed the game due to the repeat environment. However if you took the time to really read all the codex, and explore the game as a whole it was the stronger of the two between it and Origins. Plus without what Hawke did you wouldn't have the set up for Inquisitions. Don't let the rushed timeline on the game fool you.

Overall he's very positive about the game and he and I even share some opinions, like about how great Anders is and Act II being the best part of DA2.

I romanced Anders in II and I really hope that he and my Hawke get a happy ending! I hate to see them apart.

I've done the Anders romance, as both a male mage and a female mage.

I've also done Alastair, Zevran, Isabela and Dorian.

I thought all of the romances were good, apart from the Zevran one, which sucked.

Other romances I intend to do at some point are Iron Bull and Serah.

Dorian was my favourite.

Merrill is the best, hands down. I like them all however.

My "main" character who I have played through all 3 games with has a strict vow of chastity so she has not romanced anyone.

I would romance Shale if I could, though.

In Act Iii of Dragon Age II, if Zevran is alive, you can help him escape the Crows. If Isabela is around, and you aren't romancing anyone besides her, you can elect to join her and Zevan for a threesome.

The best part is that the three of you loudly proclaim your intentions and then just walk off, leaving your remaining two party members standing there awkwardly. If Aveline is in your party:
"I think I just threw up a little in my mouth."

Morrigan broke my heart.

A good rule of thumb is to never romance the apostate mage in these games. It never ends well.

I romanced Morrigan for the fast and furious fling and then switched to Leliana to settle down. So everything worked out well for me.
