It's okay, I can sort of see where you're coming from. I'm trying hard to remember what my thoughts were of everyone on my first playthrough. Varric is definitely a character I loved more and more, so maybe just give it time, you're still very early on.

I think the character that took the longest time for me to warm up to was probably Merrill, surprisingly enough. I do concede this will mean Pike/Mister Adequate will tag-team me.
