I don't really watch a lot of anime but there are a few series I could literally watch over and over again. Cowboy Bebop is fantastic, I love every incarnation of Dragon Ball, and The Big O was a Toonami favorite. I don't know if 12 years is long enough to be old school, but the first series of Fullmetal Alchemist was great too.
