Changing opening themes

Doctor Who has always done it well.

That works a bit better because it's the same theme song going through remixes.

Wait, when we talk changing themes are we talking theme songs or just the images that play, because I have no problem with the latter.

Calling it the 'opening theme' implies the music, which can confuse things. I tend to call the beginning sequence of images and music that prefaces every episode the 'opening title sequence'.

Generally, I like the images to change each season, and keep the music the same, or at the most remix the music slightly.
