Yes, but, they are also the ones who vote the least. So even if 18-34 crowd loves him, they don't vote enough. So he doesn't end up with a majority cause of that. Hilary has a stronger base on that front for the Dems. She's beating him in near every state's polls.

Obama initially won because he got the 18-34 crowd to vote. If Bernie can do the same, he'll win. That group just doesn't vote as much though. The Republicans are doing a great job of stirring them up recently though. So they may. But he has to get past Hilary first. Many don't vote in primaries so that's the underdog challenge.
