I'm kinda surprised this is as one-sided as it is! I honestly think the SNES games had the best soundtrack and the PS2 games come in second. Like, not to say the PS1 music wasn't bad, because it was very good, but I guess I just have different preferences than everyone else

PS1 era for me! Nothing can beat VIII, and VII's imho. Although Mystic Quest had some awesome music too I must say!

Got to vote for the SNES era ! FF IV, FFV, and FF VI had some classic and beauitful musical tracks ! PSONE era is a close next though.

The way the eras are divided makes this tougher than I'd have thought. FFVI has a phenomenal soundtrack, but IV and V (while great) just don't boost it enough to reach the prestige of a combined VII/VIII/IX.

SNES Era, but I love them all.

I chose the SNES era, but only for the Opera house in VI. If that wasn't there id choose the PS1 era

Ps1. Three solid Nobuo games, doing things he just couldn't have done before. I also think VII is his best soundtrack.

I'm going for IX as best sondtrack, but VII does have some great tracks too.

PS1 era had a consistantly higher quality, though damn do tracks like Dancing Mad and Battle on the Big Bridge make this a hard one to give to PSX.
