I do love him, but I feel the hype surrounding him has overshadowed many other aspects of XII that I love and feel that deserve more credit, like his amazing relationship with Fran (which some people even refuse to acknowledge for some reason ) and just the general sweet and self-sacrificing nature of Basch.

But yeah, Balthier is awesome. Can I have his FFT outfit please?

He's actually...the most annoying character. I never realized how cringeworthy his random bits dialog about being "The Leading Man" were until my current playthrough.

Also he's ugly, but everyone in FFXII is ugly. (SPOILER)Besides Cid.
