Best New Game You've Played This Year

By new I mean new to you. So it can be a super old game but the first time you did it was in this past year. What was the best new (to you) game you've played this year?

I have played a lot of good ones, but I'm going with Tales of Hearts R. Worth buying the Vita just for that game. The Tales series consistently impresses me. The characters were good, the story was good, the gameplay was fun. Overall it was just a really great game!

From what I understand, everyone is too busy playing MGS: Phantom Pain to answer your question.

For me it's probably Donkey Kong Country Returns. It's a pretty faithful sequel.

I also liked Child of Light quite a bit! And Persona Q. And Theatrhythm: Curtain Call. Gah! THere's too many good games!

Off the top of my head, probably Endless Space. I wasn't expecting much going into the title, as everyone told me it was worse than Legend, but I ended up absolutely loving it.

Too bad I never find people playing it. ; -;

Probably The Witcher III: Wild Hunt. Batman: Arkham Knight is a close second.

Destiny: The Taken King. It's an expansion but feels like a new game so I'm counting it.

I have a feeling once Fallout 4 and Battlefront make an appearance though... >.>

Probably the stand-out game series that I've been introduced to is the Persona series. Great characters, great story and novel, fun (if, admittedly, tedious) gameplay.
