HD Final Fantasy XII Remake evidence? New updated Prima Guides are released.

Prima games is releasing another set of updated guides! This time we have updated guides for Final Fantasy X, Final Fantasy X-2 and Final Fantasy XII. These guides will have HD quality images and will come in a new stylized hardback cover to match the previously released guides for Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy VIII, and Final Fantasy IX.

The Final Fantasy XII guide features a revised interior design, brand-new HD screenshots, and comes in at 352 pages. The new images were updated from the PS2 version of the game, captured in 720p. Many think this gives even more hints toward an HD remake of the game.

The Final Fantasy X-2 guide will have 352 pages of updated content based on the PS3 version of the Final Fantasy X/X2 HD Remaster, with a revised interior design, additional map content, and new HD screenshots.

Lastly, the Final Fantasy X guide features 272-pages, a revised interior design, additional map content, and HD screenshots based on the PS3 Final Fantasy X/X2 HD Remaster.

Nah. If there was a. HD remaster coming, they'd wait for that to come out, and here they specifically said these are the PS2 graphics just upscaled to 720p.

The two first (the only ones from FF12) comparsion images have no discernable difference in detail level.

Considering they are from a pre-rendered movie that is extremely unlikely to have been re-rendered, I doubt they have any technical difference in detail level either.
