I wash it every other day, sometimes another day after that depending. I've been working really hard on these curls for them to not be so intensely frizzy and washing them so much apparently actually dries them out? I also don't use shampoo anymore. I have a cleanser but all the sulfates in normal shampoo destroyed my curls. If I'm poor and cant afford my expensive devacurl stuff, I just do a cowash (conditioner wash). After changing over to this new method, my hair was greasy no matter what for about 5 weeks. My body was over producing oil since it normally was stripped out from the shampooing all the time. After the 5 weeks when my body finally adjusted to it, suddenly my curls were ~~~~amazing~~~~. I still clean it just not with traditional shampoo and it has helped me so much. Curls hold moisture and oils differently than straight hair so it takes a bit more work than I originally knew about.

My 2015 hair journey has been interesting and i've learned a lot haha.
