Sometimes, it really depends on what it is I dislike about the artist! If it's really misogynist stuff for example, I have a hard time not taking that personally and separating it from their music. I'm really into supporting the local music scene, my town has some nice talent, but I have met some of them only to find out that they are jerks, and then still jammed out to their CDs in my car.
