Post New Screens for Dissidia Final Fantasy

Square Enix released new screens for the upcoming third installment to the Dissidia series. These screenshots show off the recently confirmed Firion, Cecil, and Bartz, along with Cloud, Terra, Warrior of Light, Onion Knight, Ramuh, Ifrit, and Shiva. Dissidia Final Fantasy will be hitting Japanese arcades this November 26.

Firion brandishing his sword while looking determined.

Cecil from Final Fantasy IV letting you know that you're about to enter a world of pain.

Cecil posing with an air of majesty.

Cecil in his Dark Knight armor.

Bartz from Final Fantasy V looking rather good in this engine.

Warrior of Light from the original Final Fantasy.

The detail of damage on the shield is a nice touch.

Onion Knight from Final Fantasy III

Terra from Final Fantasy VI readies a spell.

Here's Cloud preparing for battle without much expression on his face.

    Cloud in his classic stance.

Recurring summon Ramuh calls forth lightning while sporting tusk-like facial hair.

This redesign of Shiva is quite catching.

Ifrit is as fierce as ever.

Here are some in battle screenshots.

How do you think the game is looking so far and what do you think about the redesigns of Ramuh and Shiva?

    Where's Squall ? I'm loving Shiva's shoes though.

    >>> Shiva!
The summons designs are generic or they are based from some specific FF game?

I'm okay with the look of this game mostly, but I feel the HUD is too busy. There are too many bars and components. I doubt all of those are necessary.

The game looks great. I'm not a huge fan of this version of Bartz, though.Terra looks awesome. I like the more "modern" look for Shiva. Ifrit looks badass.

We have a trailer showing the representative of each title plus the five summons.

No sign of the villains though. Midgard, Cornelia Field, Cocoon Highway and possibly Pandemonium Throne Room seem to be confirmed battle locations. It also looks like Chaos stages could be altered with the locations having something affect them such as Midgard having the basic stage fighting on a reactor and one where Meteor is above.
