My list is actually the exact opposite of yours, Jinx Although, admittedly, while I think the Mockingjay is by far the best book, it's probably also the most difficult read, which is why I understand why people don't like it too much.

I can't support the awarding of best book in the series to the one where Katniss spends half of it sleeping and crying in air vents and then (SPOILER)survives, not getting her hero's death or anything. I can appreciate the end in some ways, at least, I guess.

I actually have no issue with her sleeping and crying and hiding, since she's obviously suffering from PTSD. I think it was a realistic progression for her character.

Movies wise I think the PTSD was better portrayed in Catching Fire than Mockingjay Part-1. Probably going to be worse now that Mockingjay Part-1 SpoilerPeeta smurfing tried to strangle her to death!

    Mockingjay Part-1

Apologies for the brightness. I was playing around with the settings on my camera at night and forgot to change them back.

YouTube blocked the video in some countries, so if you're one of the ones affected you can watch it on Dailymotion:

Mockingjay book was awful. And so was the first movie - just absolutely dire.

My my disdain of Mockingjay is about how it ends though so, meh. Cos there is one character I hated through out the whole series and one I really loved and the ending was smurfed.

Think it's going to be a while before I do another marathon. This was exhausting.

    Mockingjay Part-2

There's some background noise in the video. Sorry. Audacity doesn't do too good removing it while you're talking, and since I went unscripted I couldn't do any of my usual workarounds.
