True beauty exists in things that last only for a moment.
Current Mood: And it's been a long December and there's reason to believe. Maybe this year will be better than the last. I can't remember all the times I tried to tell myself. To hold on to these moments as they pass...
I am okay with this.
To add to this, if it's the same team who brought Grandia II to PC, that would also be excellent, because they have been really great at making sure the game ended up in top condition on PC!
I really don't know what makes japanese devs scramble to release so many old games on Steam lately.

Steam is really huge in Japan right now, a much larger platform than it is has ever been there and growing rapidly, very much like the original explosion of popularity it had in many other places years ago now.
Also, they realized that people actually buy them, and this seemed surprising to them for whatever reason. Every team has ported one kind of tentatively (like XSEED with some Ys games) and then been like "oh, uh, wow, there is actually a hugely under-served market here." Because there is, Steam gamers all grew up with consoles too and there has been sooooooooo little JRPG representation on the PC historically.
I guess the simplicity of the process helps, and the fact that controller support is getting better and better in windows and games in general.
It is pretty rare that you have to fiddle with a game bought on steam to get it to work, and there's no tiresome product key activation process. Buying isn't any more complicated than it is on the PS Store, and after that the installation process is just as automated as it is on consoles as well.
Not to mention, the consoles aren't really more powerful than a decent laptop with a dedicated gpu anyway.

I am all for seeing Lunar on Steam. Depending how much it goes for I may seriously consider a purchase.
Are the Lunar games even on PSN? I don't recall ever seeing them. But its possible my brain just doesn't register seeing them since I own them alteady
Grandia? On the computer? Awesome! So glad that more jrpg's are making their way to the computer, but especially that one.
