So the Emperor's risen from hell and I am almost done with this game. BUT... I missed out on the Blood Sword. And apparently there's only one in this version... The final battle is going to be a pain

So guys, what do I do? I don't really want to spend a lot of time grinding before the Jade Passage. Plus, I still don't know what weapon to focus on with Leo. He is now dual wielding a spear and a sword, but I'm not completely convinced this is a good idea.

And now that I don't have the blood sword, I am friggin' terrified of taking on that final boss

Did you get Excalibur already?

Your best bet may be to grind HP/MP levels like I mentioned above with the swap spell. During this time, try to max out a weapon level. You get 2x the XP for weapons if you have the character duel-wielding them. Focus on swords and axes for your fighters and maybe try to gain some levels in spells like Flare and the support magic like Haste, Berserk, and Protect.

When you are finally strong enough to get into Pandemonium, you may need to farm the Iron Giant. He's a bitch to kill without the Blood Sword but he drops Genji Armor and more Excaliburs. With this type of gear, Mateus shouldn't be too much trouble.

Oh, Fynn did something similar to what I did. This is why I didn't like FFII too much. And yeah, I ended up just grinding like a bitch.
