Demisexuality is on the asexuality spectrum between allosexual and asexual, I'm aware of that, but when people say heterosexual/homosexual/bisexual, usually it's considered obvious that they're allosexual. That's why, in a way, I find demisexuality to be a bigger part of my identity that heterosexuality, really. And I've said it before - I really don't think I'd be bothered if my wife was a different gender, but I don't think that alone makes me bi or pan because I fell in love with her as a woman and really cannot tell if that would happen if she wasn't a cis woman.
Also, if I state that I'm demisexual heteroromantic that's enough since demisexuals need to be romantically attracted (and very close, at that) to someone to feel sexual attraction, in simple terms.
