Dorter is tough because you're up against several long-ranged enemies. The biggest tip is to spread out (so they don't hit all of you with magic) and try and close the gap. Having an archer or two yourself helps, and you can actually use Aim against the Black Mages while they're casting spells.Originally Posted by VeloZer0
Dorter is a tough one for a first time player. My first playthrough I think I had more trouble with it that any other battle in chapter 1. (Well, at least once I figured out how to add characters other than Ramza to the first battle....)
