I have 3 kids now, so it hasn't been about me for a long time. However, while hunting for my eldest son's gifts, I found something I had to get, a hashish pipe that belonged to an Ottoman (noble) warlord (17'th century). There isn't another like it. There are plenty of old brass pipes from the time, but this is a "complex" iron pipe. Too cool.
My eldest son made out like a bandit;
Hoyt Ruckus compound bow
18'th century Ottoman Yataghan (sword)
Orcrist (United Cutlery replica from "The Hobit")
Yamaha F335 acoustic guitar (black)
Weights and workout gloves
along with accessories for each and what not.
And when my father heard what I had gotten, he bought my son a 16'th/17'th century Indo-Persian dagger. The kids collection is off to a good start.
