Are PS3 games region locked? I am sending some friends some PS3 games, but for some reason the uk prices are higher than the US prices and it would be cheaper to buy a US copy and ship it from home. Would that work or are the games region locked?

I believe they are region-free.
PS3 games are not region-locked but DVDs are (and I've heard DLC is, but I have no idea actually).
I googled it & found that Atlus games are region locked, but most aren't.
