Overrated:
Final Fantasy VIII - Mainly only a problem here.
Final Fantasy V - It was whatever to me. Nowadays you get people saying i twas the best SNES FF.

Underrated:
Final Fantasy XIII: A problem everywhere.
Final Fantasy XII: An even worse problem everywhere. XIII is the victim of many boards like this but was more or less a mainstream success. XII meanwhile is the darling of forums like this but overall most people don't give a smurf about it.
Final Fantasy II: It's a good game. Better than FFVIII.

Just Right:
Final Fantasy VII - It was really good.
Final Fantasy IX: It deserves the fanboy popularity it's accumulated the last few years.

Final Fantasy - Just Right
Final Fantasy II - Could do with some more love ? It was a brave game that experimented quite alot and had a impressive storyline for it's time and a very impressive villian. Maria is a strong early female character too.
Final Fantasy IV - Just Right
Final Fantasy V - More love, the game is so fun and outgoing and improves the job system so much, though it seems to have such a little fanbase.
Final Fantasy VI - Just Right
Final Fantasy VII - Overrated- the storyline is such a mess and the characters are not that great.
Final Fantasy VIII - Underrated- this game gets WAY too much hate.
Final Fantasy IX - Just Right
Final Fantasy X -Just Right
Final Fantasy X-2 - Just Right
Final Fantasy XII - Underrated- especially characters like Vaan, Ashe, Bashe and Fran need more love.
Final Fantasy XIII - Just Right- it has it hatedom and it has it's strong fanbase. Pretty okay for a polarizing game.
