You inherit 5 million dollars the same day aliens land on the earth and say they're going to blow it up in 2 days. What do you do?

I would set up a quick dream fund and pay for as many dream life experiences for as many people as I could in the two days.

Not much, I mean money would probably become useless if everyone thought the world would end in two days, I'd have to horde it in a personal vault incase we can stop the aliens and the world resumes a semblance of order afterwards.

I'd withdraw it all. Store it at home, barricade myself in and wait for normality to resume. Yeah totally calling the alien's bluff on this one.

Once normality has resumed I'd do what I'd do if I won the lottery, pay off family mortages, give some money to family, give some money to friends, donate a load to charities that are important to me, treat myself to a few things and consider going back into education or persuing some potential hobbies.

Maybe I'll even buy the aliens a round of shots too.

I build a spacecraft with super duper light speed and fly off in it. Then I can find out if those planets they talk about in Star Trek really exist (I call Delta Quadrant!)
