Well I was expecting an interception on Denver's first drive so they're already exceeding my expectations. Peyton's passes still look so slow, but he is still one of the best game managers around I guess, and it showed with how wide open some of those routes were.

Bit of a wild throw from Cam on second down. Guy was wide open.
Probably just a tad nervous. Good throw on third down. Advantage Denver so far though.

I keep seeing faces from NFL: A Bad Lip Reading and I can't take this Super Bowl seriously.
Carolina will still win this, I think. Once Cam settles, they'll be too strong.

Cam has settled. Ridiculous jump by Stewart. Panthers will be ahead by halftime. They'll run away with it in the second half.

I think Carolina's sub-par receivers combined with the Broncos pass rush and pass coverage might keep it close. But at the end of the day the Panthers basically have Calvin Johnson playing quarter back for them, and there is no way you can stop him from running it all game long.
The bigger surprise for me has been Carolina's defense. I was expecting much much more.

Bad mistake by Carolina special teams, that should have been no gain or even a fumble with how bold that guy was not calling for the fair catch.
