Which characters were the most interesting?

I'm playing this game for the first time at the moment. I'm surprised how dull the main three characters are. Considering there are other temporary playable characters that join your team with far more personality.

I think Gordon is great whenever he's part of your team. Also, I wasn't sure about Richard at first but I actually think he might be my favourite!

Which of the playable cast was your favourite? Who had the most personality?
