Star Ocean V: More News!

If you're as pumped as I am about Star Ocean 5, there's a lot more news for you! The game is coming out in Japan at the end of this month on both PS3 and PS4 systems. The game is expected to get a western release sometime this year as well. Thanks to several new videos, sadly all in Japanese, we get a bit more information on the game and the differences between the PS3 and PS4 versions!

Siliconera has done an excellent job translating and surmising the difference between the version. Both games will be the same content wise, but the PS4 version can use the Shre function and the Vita remote play, whereas the PS3 version cannot. If you're interested and can speak Japanese, her is a mega video about many of the things you can expect from this game and a lot of the details:

There's also another trailer for the game which is titled the "Final Trailer". It would make sense considering the game is so close to release in Japan!

PS3 version's framerate is awful.

Which is a shame, because I'm sure it would have been a lot more stable if there were 4 characters less on screen.
