Star Ocean V English Trailer

So we've been receiving a lot of news about the new Star Ocean coming out soon, but most of the information has been in Japanese! Well today we get a nice look at an English trailer of the game! For people like me who can't speak or read Japanese, this is a great way to see more what's going on with the story.

Star Ocean V is releasing soon in Japan on PS3 and 4, whereas the game is scheduled to release elsewhere hopefully in 2016, possibly only on the PS4. Check out the trailer!

OK, dub quality seems pretty good. Loli character not too annoying... good signs! I've been tempted to get this in Japanese (mainly because Miki is voiced by the same woman who does Karen in KinMoza - see my sig), but it may be too difficult. If so, it's good to see the English version should be good to fall back on.

I like the bigger scale of the battles... though it's going to get pretty hectic! Its a nice way of distinguishing this series from Tales, gameplay wise.

But it hasn't been similar to Tales in like 15 years anyway.

I'm still entirely convinced that it's going to make the game suck.

I'm glad that I'm not into the games for the characters, because I think I've out grown the ones they keep throwing in these games. I love the game play and I will get this game for no better reason that to get my Star Ocean fighting fix.
