Be aware that there is a huge modding scene for both BG games, mostly centered around Spellhold Studios. You can find anything there from slight rules tweaks and a widescreen mod to complete expansion-sized additions to the game, plus the Big World Setup that helps actually install stuff for you. Many of these have been adjusted to ensure they work with the EEs.
