Agreed. I may have been able to stand it at one point, but after my first run through FFVIII, I despise that song. It is so ear-grating. It has become easily one of my least favorite songs in the series.Really?? Man, I have to turn down the volume when grinding in Triple Triad.

Between that, and Random, it's definitely Blitzball for me.
If Random was removed (hey, let's give players a collect-a-thon game, and then PUNISH them for collecting them all!), and the music was something that DIDN'T make you want to cut your ears off, it would actually be a really close contest.
To be honest, I'm not a huge fan of Plus either, though I don't mind Same too much. Elemental is a cool rule, though. I really wish they had worked elements into the actual game a bit more. Maybe add a strength/weakness system, with cards getting +1 against elements they're strong against or something?
