Default Who's the better Chrono Artist?

So Chrono is a much smaller series than Final Fantasy, but the two art styles used were very distinct from each other! Which one do you think worked better?

    Akira Toriyama

    Nobuteru Yuki

I'm going to cry bias since one picture is significantly larger than the other which is almost impossible to even see.

    Bias!

But to answer the question, have to say Toriyama. Chrono Trigger might be one of the last times I saw him come up with some truly inspired and creative character designs and his artwork translated well to the sprites and helped set the tone for a truly classic game.

Yuki is a fine artist with the Chrono Cross stuff as well, but I never found the designs in the game all that great. I'll also fully admit that I didn't like Chrono Cross at all either and that may factor into my assessment.

I found the world of Crono Cross to be ugly. It was too colorful and blurry. Toriyama wins.

Akira Toriyama ! The Dragonball/ Dragonball Z style gives the game some extra charm.

While I've grown to appreciate Toriyama much more thanks to Dragon Quest, Yuki's flowy painterly style really tickles all the right areas of my imagination, which is why I chose him

I actually loathe Akira Toriyama's general style so I'm gonna have to go with the other option.

That particular scene drawn by toriyama in the OP is however much more interestingly drawn, even if the characters in it don't look good.
