Favorite sections of games you hate/felt meh about?
Sure, let's make this into a fad.
We all have a game we either loathe or at least just didn't do anything for us, but I'm sure they had something you may have nejoyed if it wasn't for all the glaring issues you hated.

Resident Evil 4 is a terrible game for many reasons. The initial sections in the village are not any of those reasons.

Im feeling meh about bits of FF6 but those meh bits have decreased on my second playthrough. Once I get through Cyan's sidequest I may not hate it as much as I do now. I will say though, things like the Phoenix Cave and Gogo's hideout arent made very obvious. And the fact that you can just run into doom gaze if you accidentally fly into the wrong bit of sky is annoying (i hadnt saved my progress and had to faff about again.)
FF8 is worse. Just when I think I can coast by on GFs Adel Straps Rinoa to her chest. This game keeps bringing up walls I need to bash down in order to get anywhere
One of the living stone walls in Okami is annoying too. Its near impossible to memorize the randomly determined five points. People playing on the Wii have an unfair advantage cos they get a pause button. On PS2 you dont. Ive never beaten this wall, Ive just used a glitch someone tipped me off about and backflipped over it. It takes a while, but playing it legit would drive me insane so much that i would give up.
With the above three games I struggle through the annoying bits cos the story makes me wanna come back for more.

Doing my lets play of Romance Of The Three Kingdoms VI I just realized I can't bribe officers to like me like in every other game of the series.

Virmire is the best and only really good part of Mass Effect 1.

Everything up to Luca in FFX, the game got you wondering about Spira and the Pilgrimage, it's just a shame the Pilgrimage became an absolute chore once it really begun.
Revisiting Nibelheim in Crisis Core, right up until Genesis invited himself along without asking.
AC1 - The actual assassin missions, after you've done the bajillion tedious info gathering missions/open up the map missions.
Fallout 3 - Riley's Rangers, the town of Bob I think it was, up until the game glitched and I couldn't finish it. Also the Wasteland Survival Guide Book missions is what kept me coming back to this game.
Xenosaga Episode II - The parts of the story dealing with the U.R.T.V. characters and also the side missions involving the Professor and his Super Robot.
Kingdom Hearts 2 - The prologue is easily the best part of the game. I also really love Space Paranoids and Timeless River world in addition to finally getting Beauty and the Beast and Mulan as worlds.
KH: Dream, Drop, Distance - Getting the TWEWY cast as cameo characters in Traverse Town, and getting Fantasia as a world.

Hyperdevotion Noire - Lee-Fi and her picking fights all of the time
BlazBlue Chronophantasma - Teach me Miss Litchi
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Episode 4
Those are the only ones I can think of right now

EDIY: Ah, no. Wait. Case four in Justice for All was okay.
