Yeah, he's... not very careful around sharp objects, that's for sure
With my record of late I guess that makes two of us.
So I've decided to do something a bit more challenging this time - full-body sketches of Jack and Benny! I never do this lately so of course the proportions are out of wack, for which I apologize. It was still super fun to do!
So here's Jack Goldstein with two low-level demons, Jack Frost and Pixie, who are prominent characters in the story (yes, I intentionally partnered up a character named Jack with Jack Frost). He's also holding a gun-shaped COMP that was used by summoned in the past (as in, other Devil Summoner games) though his demon summoning program of choice comes in the form of an iPhone app.
Next up is Benny Goldstein. Notice the lack of demons. He refuses to become a summoner because of past traumas involving demons. A result of those traumas are the tattoos on his forearm that give him demonic powers and the abilities to transport between the Dark Realm and normal world. He's also kind of bitter since he's undergoing a divorce and stuff.

I like the iphone app demons. Makes the picture more than just a full body portrait
So just because I can't draw Benny around demons you don't like him anymore? For shame
Oh, these are really nice! I like full-body pictures, as I love seeing how their personality is affected through their clothing. I really like Jack's look, in particular.
Everyone likes Jack suddenly now that they can see his whole body!

Looks super good! Jack's head looks a teeny bit too big for his body, I think, but it's minor. Benny looks awesome!
The may be a bit too big, but I think the biggest issue with him is that his legs are short. But the again, I did want to give him short legs in proportion to the rest of his body to add more character XD Dtill, doesn't change the fact that on this particular drawing, it happened by accident
No drawings today since I'm still kind of fleshing out the idea for a design for one specific legacy character in my head
Should get it in by the end of the week, though!
So, something different.
Did a quick full body sketch of one of the main characters from my book, Griff. Experimenting a bit with a less detailed, cutesier style. Because I can only draw so many soulful eyes at a time, guys
