Men against boys out there. Just as with the England game I expect a "Brave Wales" narrative from the suck up pundits but they've been disappointing and poor. Legitimately a shame, the look on Ronaldo's face would've been priceless.

Of course, if Iceland hadn't got that late goal against Austria, Portugal probably would have got France in the QFs and might have already been out by now (I'll assume they would have beaten England first, because...well...because England). On such small moments can tournaments turn. Holland, Denmark and Greece barely made it out of the group stage in 1988/1992/2004. Ditto Italy in 1982 etc
