Game of the tournament so far for me. Last 10 have slowed down a bit, but sensational stuff.

Little disappointing, I think Portugal would have been a hell of a game. Iceland will play with 10 men behind the ball, and we've struggled to break down teams like that. Hope we've learned something.

I'm glad I don't have to see England v Portugal again. Iceland is a bit different at least.

I agree with Crop. I like the variation of playing Iceland but I know Portugal would've given England a game. Iceland will be just the same as the other three games with England having boring sterile domination of the game. It'll probably go to penalties at 0-0 unless Iceland snatch a goal on either the counter or a set piece.

I saw the Hungary - Portugal game while exercising in the gym. It was an absolute barnstormer. Portugal seemed dominant enough with more possession, but Hungary were good at countering and were the mirror knights of the match with two goals coming from major deflections. It was pretty funny to see. The game slowed in the last 10 minutes, probably because by that point they'd done enough to go through. A tad disappointing, I guess.

Honestly, I'm sad that Portugal didn't lose so I could see Ronaldo's face fall. He threw so many tantrums that match.

I'm glad for Iceland. This is their first tournament, isn't it? Glad we're not getting yet another England vs Portugal bust-up. Makes a change.

Following my 'home' team I guess. Republic of Ireland are playing Italy, and they're doing very well! Definitely the better of the two teams so far. They absolutely deserved a penalty towards the end and definitely could have been 1-0 up.

So one of the first eight teams will be in the final. With the exception of Portugal, that's excellent. Particularly as I have Croatia in my work's sweepstakes...

I can see it continuing the recent trend that every 12 years we get a surprise winner:

1992: Denmark
2004: Greece
2016: Croatia? Belgium? Wales?? Hungary????

Belgium wouldn't be that much of a surprise. Whisper it though but Wales could possibly have a superb run. Good luck to them, hope they can go far. Definitely will be last British Isles team standing!
