The Intermazzo from dragon quest and the pokemon center theme sound vaguely similiar, it might be just me though.

I don't think anything is as blatant as this:

oh yeah. that CT Song alsounds a bit like dragonspiral tower from pokemon black/white though not nearly as much as the BoF one

"Tyrano Lair" from Chrono Trigger and "Dark Messenger" from Final Fantasy 9 are pretty similar in some places, and have an overall similar "vibe" to them.

actually i think the pyramid theme from FF V has kuja's theme aswell.

FFIX to CT one makes sense when you remember Uematsu helped compose a few tracks for CT when Mitsuda was hospitalized for an ulcer.

IX's whole soundtrack is filled with call backs to older FF tracks as well.

I have always thought that these tracks sound very similar:

The Necron final battle music and the Bizzaro Sephiroth music have similarities. And this may be only nuances but I've always thought that the Bizzaro Sephiroth music has things in common with the regular boss battle music of FF8.

But as mentioned, its all Uematsu.
