The three ancients: Ulyaoth, Xel'lotath, and Chattur'gha. They're going to rain down judgment on our heroes and the world at large along with the corpse god.
I have no idea, but I like how they have them towering over them in the box art there.

As usual, it's pretty ugly.
As for the three giants in the background, perhaps the new "original" versions of what was formally the gods from the FNC since I wouldn't be surprised if they were featured in the Versus XIII script?

Why is the NA boxart so damn ugly in every instalment? I know the FFX NA boxart wasn't great, either.
