So what will be Mayfair and what will be Old Kent Road?

"Excuse me Miss, do you like pineapple?"
I feel like the only way to play this game properly is to have everyone playing cosplay as the Shin-Ra Board of Directors.
You know, just like how my family plays Risk.

True beauty exists in things that last only for a moment.
Current Mood: And it's been a long December and there's reason to believe. Maybe this year will be better than the last. I can't remember all the times I tried to tell myself. To hold on to these moments as they pass...
Old Kent Road = Sector 5 Slums
Mayfair = The Promised Land
"Why yes, I'll pay 20 million gil for Sector 7 please. That seems like a sound investment.
I'm gonna put a nice hotel right on the plate."
All the houses need to be those walking house monsters from the slums!
I think it would be really cool to own, but not to play. I'm just not sure how the mechanics would play out knowing the backstory of how/where everything is placed. If it's more of owning villages rather than spots of Midgar, that would work out way better. Midgar and Golden Saucer as Boardwalk and Parkway respectively would work out well.
FFVII contains 18 towns/villages including Temple of the Ancients and The Forgotten City. Not including Chocobo Sage or the Weapon Dealer. A standard monopoly board has 22 locations, not including the 4 stations and 2 utilities.
I think they'd have to split up Midgar somehow (Shinra HQ as Mayfair, 7th Heaven as Old Kent Road etc.). Perhaps having the utilities as Mako and Coal, since they're the two notable power sources in the game (or maybe the Lifestream?).
As for the Stations they could do different Sectors I suppose, but that may be a bit bland. Perhaps doing the ports of Junon and Costa Del Sol would be better for two of them.
I'm interested in seeing how it turns out though!
